BIOGRAPHY

Gianluca Rovinello graduates in Classical  Harp  in  2011  and  then starts studying Jazz Harp  He collects many   prizes as a young  harpist  and in 2005 he starts the An Arperc’, the first south Italian folk harp ensemble, who plays many important concerts such  as  the RAI  auditorium in  2009 with the Scarlatti Orchestra.      

He collaborates  with many popular Neapolitan singer such as Blindur, Daniele Sepe, Tommaso Primo, Consiglia Ricciardi, Lucariello and Flo recording more than 50 albums in 10 years.         

In 2015 releases Gatos do Mar album “La Zattera”: the unusual use of the Harp,  between folk and jazz, and the unique voice of Annalisa Madonna makes the sound    of this duo so original that soon Gatos do Mar becomes one of the most popular band in Naples collecting hundreds of concerts. In many years. In 2018 the band begins a long          studio  production for the new album that is released in May 2019. “La   Sindrome di Wanderlust”  is  inspired  by  the  German  word  “Wanderlust”,  an intense  urge  for  self-development by experiencing  the unknown, confronting unforeseen challenges.

Never  forgetting his classical origin (he’s in China          with the Orchestra San Giovanni for a 20days tour in 2016) today Gianluca is the first Italian harpist who mixes classical, jazz, folk and electronic music, as you can listen in his last project, “Grass ‘n Wood” released in 2020.
